Tip for Importing Packages

- Check with us the Lebanese customs regulations there are some important details
you must know.
- Check the customs duties and charges .
- Good packing : we recommend that you ask for packing
- Insurance : if your package contains valuables we recommend that you ask for insurance
coverage
- Check the list of required documentation
- Check our transit time table to have an approximate delivery date
- Ask your supplier for the exact weight and volume to have an approximate quote.
- Consider additional 24 hrs clearance time for some kind of goods.
If you are a trader or a consumer interested in buying products from outside Lebanon
and import them in Lebanon, our Import Courier service is what you need.
Customs Regulations:
Although our charges include pick up charges and delivery door-to-door, our charges
do not include taxes or duties and customs clearance which may be payable on your
parcel importation into Lebanon. If you import goods through you should be aware
that Customs duty and VAT will be payable, as follows:
Low value shipments (below 600$) that do not require any VISA, and low
weights shipments (below 30kg) are cleared same day upon arrival. Customs duties
incurred are billed back to consignees.
VISA’s are required for:
- Agricultural products
- foodstuff
- Medicines, chemicals & biological samples
- Telecommunication equipments such as phones, mobiles, modems & satellite receivers
- Any type of Media
High value shipments (above 600$) are split from the courier bag. They are issued
a "Delivery Order" and are cleared separately. Clearance charges and Customs duties
incurr , and are billed back to consignee if clearance is undertaken by Skynet Worldwide
Express. Otherwise only the "Delivery Order" charges are billed back to consignee.
